True, Synn. True. I'll amend my comment to "mildly ugly baby."

I've seen some pretty ugly babies myself and I don't think this one was so bad. Kind of cute when he smiled.

~*I really enjoyed this ep. I agree with Angela about not testifying but I am not sure I could actually be that brave! I loved
that Bones and Boothe had to talk to each other even when they were not supposed to. I also like the way the worked Sweets into being a regular on the
show!

I guess there's a benefit to being hyper-rationa. I am truly amazed that someone would be okay with their coworkers and friends supporting one's father
going to jail. Angela showed what a good friend she is by not testifying against Bones's father. I'm just surprised that someone with the deductive
powers that Bones has wasn't able to figure out why or that she didn't realize that her father might be sent to death row.
I'm generally not a fan of eps with Bones's family in it, but I was surprised how much I liked this ep. Still, I'd rather her family remain distant. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Sweets isn't Gormogon. He's been a refreshing addition to the show and I like how they worked him in to an even more recurring or perhaps regular cast role. I love that sassy lawyer! I loved how she can say the things she said to the judge and he didn't think twice about it (re: putting Angela on the stand so the judge's mug could scare her). I was also impressed that the black forensic guy was able to one-up the young geeky forensic guy. It was a great way for them to bring back someone we were familiar with. I'm a bit newer to this show. Do we know for a fact that Brennan's dad killed that guy? Bones certain thinks he did. ![]() WoW Gal#1 "The first hundred years are the hardest." |

In that case, I'm bothered that everyone is so happy to see him out of jail. What he did is rather horrific, even if the guy he killed was a douche.

Well he was trying to kill Bones and her brother to draw their father out so he could kill him. From what I remember he was a corrupt FBI agent, and I think he
also had a hand in the death of her mother. It wasn't as horrific as it originally seemed, it was only last night that we learned he died instantly and all
the othe rstuff, the torture & the burning only took place after he was dead

I still wouldn't be joyous about a guy like that walking free. It also seems a bit morbid that he did all that stuff after he killed the guy. It almost
makes less sense to me. If the guy were alive, I could understand it more, because he wanted to make the FBI prick suffer for going after his kids and being
involved in his wife's death.

I think they were joyous for Bones not really because he's free. I can't remember but seems like there was a reason all that was done. Maybe to make it
harder to determine cause of death? Or was it something to do with FBI agent? Didn't he do that to someone? I guess I need a refresher! lol Still a great
ep. I laughed when the judge had to separate Bones and Boothe. So funny. I love Angela. Just love her. I too am glad to see that Sweets is now going to be a
regular cast member! I also hope he isn't Gormogon but they certainly made a point to note how intelligent he is. And how better to keep on top of the case
than to work regularly with the lead members of the investigation team.

Excellent episodes indeed. Some very funny moments!
I also found it a little devious that everybody was ok with Bones' father being set free. But to put him on death row for killing someone who is threatening his family and who is corrupted, that's not right either. It deserves a life sentence though. Note: Angela's problems with the justice shouldn't be over because Bones' father was set free. It's two separated cases.

~*But to Angela she felt like she was being a trader to her best friend. Angela was being true to the character she is. Sometimes
she annoys me a bit but I really liked her in this ep.

Monic, Bones's father wasn't going to be sent to death row for killing a someone who threatened his family. He would have gone for the manner in which
the FBI agent was killed. Until right around the trial, it seemed like the agent had been put through torture before being killed. It took the young black
Squint pointing it out that the agent had been killed mercifully before being disembowled, crucified, and burned.

No, I thought he was the squint that they were considering hiring at the Jeffersonian before Zach came back from serving in the Armed Forces.
