That's because it had the writers from Two and a Half Men.
It really was hilarious. And the opposite was great also. On Monday's ep when the CSI writers tried their hand at 2.5 Men.

Dourdan appeared in his final episode on May 15 (the season finale) as CSI Warrick Brown. It was mutually decided last month that he leave the drama, which he has appeared on since its inception in 2000. Fox decided earlier this season to walk away from her role as Sara Sidle, though she left open the possibility of returning for guest appearances.

OMGUSH!! Warrick!! They killed him!! When I saw the last scene with all the charaters, I knew that something would happen. And when I saw Warrick going out
alone, I knew. I knew that a&&hole cop was dirty!

~*Well the real dirt is that they had planned to do away with Warrick long before last month. They just had not annoucned it. It
seems he had become too much of a problem on the show.
I was sad to see Warrick die. He was always a favorite of mine. I like the actress who will be playing Bryce. Rumour is to look for her and Nick to bond.

I don't read spoilers as much as possible then I didn't know about the death. I knew that the actor was moving along but I didn't know how they
would write him out.
At some point him and Catherine were hot together. Oh well, no action on that side now.

Oh wow. I knew also that something bad would happen when they were all sitting around drinking coffee and we still had 5 minutes. And I knew it was the dirty
cop the second he knocked on the window.
 So sad. I guess that will be part of the ongoing theme next season, find the person who shot Warwick.

In the wake of the departures of co-stars Gary Dourdan and Jorja Fox,
Lauren Lee Smith (The L Word) has joined the cast of CSI as a series regular. She'll play Bryce Adams, a character that CBS describes as
a flirty and smart CSI who entered law enforcement to rebel against a controlling father. She'll join Gil Grissom's night-shift team next season. An
insider close to the show also says other new cast members may be added in the near future.
