~*Drat! I really wanted Jerell and the girls. Kinley's dress is very nice but it does look like McQueen. Morganza from season
1!!!!! The naughty model! Remember when Model's mattered on this show?

Okay, so here's the deal. I liked Kenley at first, but then she started getting snotty and I really didn't like her. But I also didn't like the way
that Korto, Jerrell, and Leeann treated her, giving her the silent treatment. When she came to the Westin, she made an effort to be civil and Jerrell is the
only one who the minutest effort to be polite to her. She even apologized for her previous behavior, and while that doesn't make me like her, it make me
respect her for trying. I thought everyone could have chilled out a little sooner.
Also, what was with the pouty faces when Tim told them about the bridesmaid's dress? Haven't they seen the show before? They should have expected something. Tim tearing up while he was expressing how proud he was of each of the designers was very touching. He is a truly honorable man who cares deeply about the advancement of fashion and is very supportive of people's creative visions. I have to say that I agree with the judges' opinions of each designer's bride's and bridesmaid's gowns. Leeann's and Kenley's designs were very strong. I didn't know about the McQueen gown, so I think Kenley's design is my favorite. I didn't hate Jerrell's but there was too much going on and the grey taffeta was bothersome. And I didn't like Korto's designs at all. That said, I feel that she's the stronger designer and deserved to go to Fashion Week. ![]() WoW Gal#1 "The first hundred years are the hardest." |

~*From what we have seen of Korto's collection it looked really good. I think the thing is that Kenley was just so rotten to
them for so many weeks they just couldn't get past it. I do think even though I don't like her that Kenley's collection seems great. I don't
think she should win though. I am sorry but she treated the judges and Tim like crap for too long for me to want her to win. (I liked her at first too!) Oh and
Tim tearing up was just so Tim. He is such a great guy.

Those runway shows were great! I thought Korto's show was the most interesting and colorful. I thought Kenley's was good, but too retro. And I thought
Leeann's was the most diverse, but the color palate was a bit boring.
I'm okay with Leeann winning. Here was the most innovative. Is there going to be a reunion show? ![]() WoW Gal#1 "The first hundred years are the hardest." |

I think I would've preferred Korto for the win just because I think she designs for all body types but I can live with LeeAnn.

~*I agree. I liked Korto's designs better.I feel like LeeAnn's was good but Korto's just seemed more fun. Kenley did
a good job but she really needs to be aware of what is going on in the fashion world. I am not a designer but I know more about people's collections that
she does!

I'm glad Kenley didn't win - I agree Syn - she needs to know what the fashion world is doing or she could become a copycat, though I'm not sure I
don't buy she didn't know anything.
I like both Leanne and Korto's collections - Leanne's was pretty limited in color though, so I am not sure why she was chosen the winner. Either way I think they'll both do well. |

I actually liked Leanne's the least of the three finalists. Her designs are well constructed, but they look like something you could buy at Ikea, if Ikea
sold clothes.
I hate to say it, but I really liked Kenley's collection, but Korto did a a good job as well. |

And the drama continues between the Weinsteins and Bravo in the Project Runway saga. According to The Hollywood Reporter, what started out as a legal battle with Bravo seeking damages, due to the Weinstein Co.'s controversial move of Project Runway to Lifetime, has added yet another chapter to the ugly lawsuit. Papers were filed in New York federal court by Weinstein claiming they were wronged by Bravo's intentional refusal to promote the show's most recent Season 5 run. According to the papers, Weinstein said Bravo sabotaged both Runway's ratings and value by running very few ads - which were referred to as "mundane and unappealing" - and also claimed the network was far too lax with providing press info for the season premiere and/or revealing spoilers for future episodes. The company, owned by brothers Bob and Harvey Weinstein, is also alleging that Bravo began to suspect the move to a rival network was eminent and thus the network began to create "copycat shows" based on Runway's style (think back to Sarah Jessica Parker's American Artist announcement back in July). Bravo's parental unit, aka NBC Universal, released the following statement: "Not only do we categorically disagree with the Weinstein's Co.'s assertions, but the fact is that Season 5 was the most-watched and highest-rated Project Runway cycle ever." It's hard to say whether Season 5 (often bashed on blogs for lacking the same je ne sais quoi as seasons past) was set up to damage the show, or if it was just an off cycle as far as contestants connecting with viewers. We know for a fact that Bravo was very tight-lipped about spoilers with TVGuide.com. But it has to be said that in retrospect, the hoopla surrounding Season 4 does not even compare to the promotion we got this time around (still wondering what happened to the reunion show). Do you think Bravo set out to sabotage the show so it wouldn't make it on Lifetime? |

No, I personally don't think Bravo tried to sabotage S5. I think it was an off-cycle or the shows appeal is waning.
