I hope there's a point to Evan Rachel Wood being on the show. She really didn't do much at all.

Jason running into the tree was maybe the best moment since...well, since the week before when Sam was "smote". Then again, Lafayette seeing Eric in
Tara's mama' clothes was pretty darn funny.

I rather thought she was funny (Evan Rachel Wood). I am sure we will find out more about her but I liked the casual, it's all about me attitude. You'd
expect a queen like her to have it and I can pretty much guess Evan Rachel has it also. lol. I don't remember Jason running into a tree but I can promise
you that I'd be the s**t out of Tara when all that is over. Really. Honestly. I wouldn't have gone after her period. I'd totally cut her out of my
life. I mean Lafayette and her mama save her. Sookie "finds" her in that crazy, blackeyed, MaryAnn loving shell she had left and the best she can do
is have her nutso mom hold them at gun point, steal Sookie's car and go back to the House of Crazy? Uhh. No. We did get to meet Sookie's drug addict
cousin, but funny that Bill didn't seem surprised to see her. Poor Lafayette caught the crazy.

~*Well she is nothing like the queen in the books. I don't care for the way she is playing her. Maybe I will change my mind
later on.

I thought Evan Rachel Wood did a good job of playing the Vampire Queen. She was funny and demented at the same time. Bill is such a wuss when it comes to
authority. He knows people are counting on him to find a way to kill Maryann, and time is running out, but he doesn't want to upset the Queen so he just
sits there poolside waiting until he's allowed to leave. I doubt Eric would have that problem.
Loved the Fangtasia scene with Sam and the "teacup" humans. Even he has no problem standing up to Eric. If they ever had a spin off show starring Pam and Eric I would totally watch. They are so funny together. Only one ep left, and they are making us wait two weeks. Not fair .

They have to stop making Eric so hilarious and awesome if they want people to like Bill. I don't know if it was the actress as much as it was the role of
the Queen that didn't do it for me - it seemed pointless, but that may change in the finale or next season (I'm assuming they introduced her for a
purpose - I just don't see it yet). I'm getting back on board with Sam, Jason, and even Andy too - they've really stepped up in the past couple of
episodes (although I think that the was the most I've ever heard the "p" word used in the course of a 2 minute conversation).
ANGEL - I'm with you on the Tara thing. I'm hoping she gets killed in the finale - even when she wasn't possessed she was whiny, stupid, annoying... I could go on and on.... I so wanted Lafayette to kick some butt... did not want to see him possessed, but I assume he'll be saved (I hope so - he and Eric are my favorite characters). I'm really looking forward to this finale - and I agree it's too long to wait! |

That's a great idea synn and Nice you are so right about Eric. He is just so freaking great Bill is a pale imitation of a vampire in comparison.

I read today on a gossip site that Evan Rachel Wood and Alexander Skarsgard are dating in real life. That's a vast improvement from Marilyn Manson to a
Viking vampire.

lol, Synn!
That sort of seems like a weird combo only because she's so petite! |

Anyone would look petite next to a guy who's 6 foot 4. He would have to date a giant or Maria Sharapova to match his height.
I dated a guy once who was 6 foot 6 (his dad was a former NHL player) and it was hard getting used to the height difference. Even though I'm above average height for a girl (5" |

There is quite a height difference between Synn & I.
I hated Woods performance. I thought her acting was terrible. I pray they kill Tara, ut it's not going to happen. I just want this Maryann story over with as soon as possible I wan to know what they are doing next year |

Well hmmm. This was a bit anti-climatic for me. So basically all this time Sam could've just turned into a bull and stabbed her? And again I say I would
beat the bejesus out of Tara. No ma'am missy, you knew what had already happened and you walked back into the crazy. Sam ROCKS. I love me some
shapeshifting Sam. Well I guess I could just wear him like a scrunchie. And now you all know when a tree falls in the forest it's still a tree right?
Jason. I love stupid. lol Poor Andy, you tell them! I guess I feel the worst for Eggs but I think that was not a smart move on Sookie's part. She
could've just told him that she knew he stabbed Sam and left it at that. I do think killing off Eggs was just an easy way to get rid of the character. I
guess Sam contacting his birth parents will bring us into the shifter world now. I'm really ready for it.

I found the season final anticlimactic as well.
As amusing as it was to see Eric playing Yahtzee, there was very little of him in this ep. Was that supposed to be him in the French restaurant kidnapping Bill. I was really surprised to find out that the Queen vamp is a V dealer. So long Maryann!! I was so happy for this stupid storyline to be over. Sam saved the day! I just wished he could have finished her off 6 ep's ago. I had a feeling Jessica was going to go off the deep end. She was pretty unstable before she met Hoyt, and I knew after their fight that she was going to do something very bad. I can't believe we have to wait 9 months for S3

~*I agree Angel, very anti-climatic for me too. I mean really? This is what you give us. Poor Jessica and Hoyt. I hope they find
each other next season. My hate for Tara has grown and grown more and more each and every single ep.
Okay now my season rundown. Things they did perfect this season.... Jessica and Hoyt. THEY are the star crossed lovers to me. Not Bill and Sookie or Eric and Sookie. Dallas. This story was handled really well. Barry was just as I imagined him in the books and Godric's story was beautiful and poignant. It made Eric more than a funny vampire and gave him real personality. Also Godric's death made me actually like Sookie again. I have a hard time standing behind her much of the time. Andy,Jason and Sam to a lesser extents friendship. Andy and Jason together are so funny and so fun! Sam as the voice of reason with these two idiots was so much fun. Oh and Pam! We saw her as her personality. She is funnny and mean and that worked. Things they did okay. The Queen. Evan was better last night than she was the week before. This is nothing like the Queen in the book. Anna Sophia in the books was far more mature. Hadley! She was fun to see and I have hope for her next year. Lafayette. Hell, they kept him alive so I am soooo happy about that. Things that succked. All of the Maryanne crap. I hated them destroying Gran's house. I hated all the gross blood and sex and violence. There were times when I almost felt sick to my stomache. It was a waste to me. Tara,Tara,Tara! Please kill this bitch off right now. I hate her so much words can not describe it. She is a selfish. whiney bitch. Book Tara is so much better. All this Maryanne crap is because of her. I think all in all I would give it a B+. It was a pretty good season that could have been great had they gotten rid of Maryanne far sooner. ![]() ![]()

I agree Synn, the Dallas storyline was by far the strongest. What I didn't like about this season was that all the major characters had separate
storylines that kept them apart for most of the season. Sam and Tara were in Bon Temp dealing with all the Maryann crap, Jason spent a handful of ep's at
the Light of Day camp, and Sookie, Bill and Eric were in Dallas trying to find Godric. The season was almost over by the time all the storylines diverged
together.
